AUSTIN, TEXAS
This custom residence outside of Austin, Texas, was done in conjunction with Jenkins Design-Build. Presented with a sloping lot, we designed a layout that sought to maximize views of the surrounding hill country through an interconnected indoor-outdoor living scheme that minimized disturbance to the surrounding oak trees. A vaulted, open plan living/kitchen/dining space serves as the main artery of the house, with private bedroom and bathroom wings connected at each end. These wings frame a large outdoor living area that features a covered dining and grill area, stepped patios, a fire pit and an integrated pool and spa that overlook the surrounding landscape.
